How it’s made…
This traditional pork bierstick is made with finely ground Freedom Farmed NZ pork and fragrant fennel seeds… then cured and lightly smoked… with really wood smoke, none of that tricky chemical stuff here.
The pork is a careful blend of the most flavoursome cuts: shoulder, cheeks… and a dash of rich pork fat. All sourced from Freedom Farms NZ-farmed pork (obviously).

Cooking notes…
These are fully cooked and ready to eat… no prep necessary. But, they do go beautifully crispity crunchy and golden if you slice them up and sizzle them in a pan over medium heat before tossing through pasta (they’re also an excellent alternative to bacon in a potato salad!).

Rinse and dry the plastic outer and return
to the soft plastics recycling bin at your local grocery store.
With careful management, soft plastic waste can be kept in a closed loop system – plastic from this product can be recycled into fence posts which are utilised on the same farms this product came from.
