We know that piggies raised the right way also means the most delicious pork chops as well.
For us its all about traceability. We say you (and your butcher) deserve to know exactly where and exactly how the pork you are buying has been farmed.
Our fresh pork cuts are now available in heaps of specialty food stores and selected supermarkets throughout the country.
You can recognise it by our label.
And please if you can’t see it… hassle them til they get the picture… oh and give a cuddle to the ones that already do…
A few things you might want to know about Pork.
A stressed out piggy doesn’t taste so good. The more natural the environment the happier the piggy and the better the pork. Not real hard is it?
You are what you eat. Feed a piggy waste products and guess what they end up tasting like?
If you keep a piggy couped up indoors on concrete floors without heaps of space and lots of fresh air the meat often ends up tasting dodgy. It’s called ‘sty taint’. Yuck.
Happy, healthy piggies put on lots of natural fat. Fat carries the flavour. We like that.
