- Made from our SPCA certified NZ naturally farmed pork (so we can guarantee it hasn't been raised with growth hormones...or kept in cages, crates or those concrete pens)
- Made the modern way...curing fresh pork with a brine solution... which includes real NZ honey.
- Smoked with real wood smoke (not chemical smoke flavoured)
- This bacon is made from only the premium eye cut and is trimmed to ensure it's very low in fat. (we know a few people who don't get this cause they reckon the fat is the best part)
- The rind (skin) has been cut off...that's why we call it rindless bacon..... great for using in your fancy cooking.
